Tell Me About Podcast with…Me!

Tell Me About Podcast with Liz Black

A few weeks ago, His Lordship approached me and asked if I would be interested to participate in an interview for his podcast Tell Me About. The answer was simple: Yes, of course!
I’ve been a great fan of the podcast medium since 2003. I’ve always wanted to start one myself but never did. So to be featured on one was a dream come true.

The Interview

A couple of weeks ago we recorded the interview by Zoom and yesterday it was released. And you know what? I’m pretty proud and happy with how it turned out.

I was incredibly nervous beforehand. I wanted to open up and show a different side of myself to the community, so I knew just shyly mumbling answers wouldn’t do. I prepped like I did back in my theatre days, so I was bright and somewhat bubbly. And now, listening back to the recording, I think: man, I giggle a lot.

Additional Information

Some sidenotes to the interview:

The current number of books published under two aliases is twenty-two. I always forget the full number, because I also have some titles that I unpublished.

My favourite character is called Clarissa. About an hour after the interview, I remembered her name. She stars in many of my stories, though most of them (yet) unpublished.

The only question I didn’t expect was what I would do with a submissive of my own, and I gave the lamest answer ever: edging. Of course, it would entail so much more, but I couldn’t come up with anything else on the spot. I don’t have a fully worked-out plan for it.

Maybe More to Come…

Overall, I’m thrilled with how the podcast turned out. The first responses from my real-life friends are positive as well. So if you want to learn more about Liz’ background in life, writing and D/s, you should definitely give it a listen. Or maybe you just want to hear the voice behind all these words.

The interview has definitely whet my appetite for doing audio, so who knows where that will go in the future.
